FHSD Announces Dr. Mike Dominguez as the New Superintendent
Francis Howell School District Board of Education approved **Dr. Mike Dominguez** as the District’s next superintendent. His contract will officially begin July 1, 2025, as current Superintendent Dr. Kenneth Roumpos transitions to a new role with Kirkwood School District.

Last Day of School Update
The last day of school for grades K-11 is now **Tuesday, June 3** and will be an **Early Release Day** for all students.

Becky-David Elementary’s Rainah Pray named FHSD Teacher of the Year

Rainah Pray, a second-grade teacher at Becky-David Elementary, has been named the 2025 District Teacher of the Year for the Francis Howell School District (FHSD).

Kindergarten registration underway for 2025-26 school year

The district has begun the process of registering students for the 2025-26 Kindergarten class. Missouri law states that students must be five years old before the first day of August to enroll in Kindergarten.

Kid Chefs Wanted: FHSD to host 2nd annual cooking competition for elementary students

The Francis Howell School District is gearing up for its second annual Future Chefs National Challenge, sponsored by Sodexo, the District’s food service provider.

U.S. News & World Report has named its 2025 Best Elementary and Middle Schools, ranking more than 79,000 public schools nationwide based on data from the U.S. Department of Education.
